Kevin Merida
Kevin Merida is a visual artist who lives and works in the Historic Center of Guatemala City. He studied Anthropology at the University of San Carlos de Guatemala and graduated from the Rafael Rodríguez Padilla National School of Plastic Arts. He also studied photography at La Fototeca, as well as Advanced Painting and Contemporary Art at the Municipal School of Art. Over the years, he has participated in numerous workshops and seminars with renowned local artists.
Since 2012, his work has been exhibited in galleries both in Guatemala and abroad, including Italy and El Salvador. His pieces form part of public collections such as the Roque Dalton Art Gallery at the University of El Salvador and the Museum of the University of the Isthmus (MURB), as well as several private collections in Guatemala and internationally.
