Every migration is like starting with a blank canvas, where you make your way as you go, leaving everything behind, starting over, not knowing what the future holds. I start with people taken from news stories published on the internet, real migrants who travel through spaces created from my own experiences, which are in turn the result of my own migration. In this case, they are parents who remain rooted in their country, with the pain of not being able to follow their children.
