Each migration feels like starting with a blank canvas, where paths are forged as you move forward. You leave everything behind to begin anew, yet with time, you form bonds that grow harder to break. What does the future hold for me?
In my work, I use mixed media, with texture, expressive brushstrokes, and a monochromatic palette framing the figures as the central elements. These figures are anchored to the canvas through embroidery, symbolizing the ties that bind us to moments, places, and experiences.
This process has led me to pause and reflect on my own journey, exploring the profound emotions and transformations that migration brings.
